The Meaning of Islam

The word Islam has many meaning, according to Qur’an Islam means:

1. Islam is a religion (Qur’an 5:3)

“Today, I have perfected your religion for you, I have completed My blessing upon you, I have approved Islam for your religion.”

2. Islam is Submission to Allah (Qur’an 3:19)

“The religion before Allah is Islam (Submission to His Will), Nor did the people of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy each other, after knowledge  had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account.”

3. Islam is the Religion of Allah (Qur’an  3:83)

“Do you seek for other than the Religion of Allah? While all creature in the heavens and on earth have, Willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (Accepted Islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back.”

Jihad Laws in Islam

Here are some rules of war in Islam “Jihad”:

• Do not kill children.
• Do not kill women.
• Do not kill elders.
• Do not kill disabled people.
• Do not kill surrendered fighters.
• Do not kill animals except for food.
• Do not torture anyone, anything.
• Do not kill monks, show them respect.
• Do not insult your enemies.
• Do not destroy worship places, buildings.
• Do not kill with fire.
• Do not kill out of revenge.
• If you have been attacked, respond only with the same amount.
• Do not overuse power.
• Do not kill anyone begging for mercy.
• Do not kill, execute or imprison enemies after the war is done, release them.
• Avoid war if possible.

Those are some insane Jihad rules, there are many others.
